Installer requirements
Use a competent local installer familiar with the UDT procedure and documentation.
Detached house
Home charging is usually the simplest segment. Do not assume that every private charger requires UDT inspection — check the obligation for the specific use case in UDT guidance.
Apartment building
In apartment buildings the main work is technical groundwork and approvals. If charging is offered to residents as a service, review whether the station falls under UDT inspection.
Commercial property
Commercial property and workplace charging is a major opportunity in Poland: long dwell times suit AC up to 22 kW and load management keeps within the existing connection.
Public charging
Publicly accessible stations are subject to UDT technical inspection and the operator must report data to the EIPA register. AFIR requirements on ad hoc charging, payment and price information also apply.
