Smart everyday charging where the car already parks
HUBCORE focuses on Mini and Medium charging. Both are coordinated by the central HUBCORE Controller that balances load and phases. We do not build a fast-charging network.
1-phase 230 V
A managed socket or low-power charging point. Suitable where cars park for longer — apartment lots, workplaces, regular destinations.
- Single or dual socket/point per site
- Metering and user identification
- Load management and protective safety
- Low infrastructure cost, simple installation
Smart AC up to 22 kW
Mainly 3-phase AC charging up to 22 kW with dynamic load management and phase awareness. Scalable to multi-charger sites.
- Multiple chargers sharing a capacity limit
- Dynamic phase-aware distribution
- User identification and metering
- Scalable installation and future expansion
Central energy brain
Coordinates both Mini and Medium points at once. Balances load and phases, monitors energy flows and is ready to connect a battery, solar and other building systems.
- Real-time load and phase balancing
- Energy-flow monitoring across the building
- Ready to connect a battery and solar
- Same control logic on every site
Actual charging power depends on the vehicle, currently available grid capacity at the site, load management and any battery buffer.
Comparison: Mini vs Medium
| Mini (230 V) | Medium (up to 22 kW) | |
|---|---|---|
| Suitable parking duration | Long (overnight, workday, several hours) | Medium (1–4+ hours) |
| Typical use case | Apartment lot, workplace parking, destination | Workplace, shared lot, commercial |
| Infrastructure complexity | Low | Medium |
| Expansion path | Add more points gradually | Scales with the site and connection |
| User experience | Plug in and leave | Smart sharing between multiple users |
We do not fix specific charging times — they depend on the vehicle, battery state and on-site capacity.
Why not always a fast charger?
DC fast charging is expensive in equipment, installation and grid capacity. Apartment, workplace or street-lighting connections rarely support it sensibly.
Most cars are parked far longer than they need for charging. Normal AC charging uses that dwell time efficiently.
Slower AC charging is generally gentler on the vehicle in daily use than constant DC fast charging.
Fast charging belongs to long trips and highway corridors. HUBCORE focuses on the local everyday user.
Quality and standardisation
Every HUBCORE charging point uses the same technical logic, protection, lighting, labelling, documentation and user interface — regardless of the site.
- Unified hardware and software logic
- Standard protection and safety
- Same metering and billing model
- Unified documentation and labelling
Would a charging point suit your site?
We give an honest assessment — Mini, Medium or a combination, along with a capacity analysis.
