Why HUBCORE
HUBCORE solves the most ordinary charging problem: the car is parked for a long time, but there is no charging option — or it does not fit within the building's capacity.
HUBCORE is an Estonian energy technology project bringing smart charging up to 22 kW to places where cars already park, integrated with building energy management. The solutions are in a pilot and partner-development stage.
Charging where the car already stands
Most charging demand arises at home, at work or in an apartment car park, where the car stands for hours. Fast charging is not needed there: long parking makes slower charging cheaper, gentler on the grid and gentler on the battery.
Capacity is shared, not purchased
The HUBCORE Controller monitors energy flows, balances load and phases, and creates readiness for connecting batteries, solar and other building systems. More charging points fit within the existing grid connection.
Honest status: pilot stage
HUBCORE solutions are in a pilot and partner-development stage. We do not claim a finished nationwide network or unconfirmed partnerships. Where a feature is still in development, it is labelled as such in the interface.
What HUBCORE is not
Clarity is part of trust.
- Not an electricity retailer or grid operator.
- Not building a fast-charging network.
- Does not promise a guaranteed 22 kW in every situation — that is an upper limit.
