Building energy management means metering consumption and scheduling controllable devices so peak load stays low and energy is bought at the best possible time. The HUBCORE Controller is the central control layer.
Measure before you control
Without reliable metering, every optimisation is guesswork. The first step is making consumption and peak load visible.
Controllable loads
Not every load can be shifted, but some are highly flexible.
- EV charging — the most flexible load.
- Heating and water heater — thermal storage allows scheduling.
- Battery storage — buffers peaks and surplus solar.
Readiness, not lock-in
The Controller is built so a battery, solar or further building systems can be added later without redoing the first stage.
