Main fuse and grid connection capacity

We check the existing connection size and how much capacity is left for charging after the building's own consumption.

Actual phase loads and load profile

We measure how load is distributed across phases and when the daily peaks occur.

Main distribution board, cables, earthing and protection

We assess board condition, free space, cable cross-sections and whether protection and earthing are suitable.

Parking area and cable routes

We look at parking layout, distance from the board and possible routes along walls, trays or trenches.

Connectivity and remote monitoring readiness

We check whether usable internet exists on site or mobile connectivity is needed so devices can be monitored.

Load-logger measurement when needed

If data is scarce, we install a temporary logger to see real consumption over a longer period.

Electrical verification measurements and safety assessment

Important: whether the main fuse needs upgrading only becomes clear after measurement and technical analysis. Often the existing connection is enough when charging is dynamically managed.

How metering and cost sharing work

  • Each user's charging session is identified by an account or an RFID card.
  • Billing is based on the charger's metering data or a separate MID meter reading.
  • A monthly consolidated invoice, prepayment or immediate guest payment are all possible.
  • Residents and guests can have different tariffs, decided by the association.
  • Infrastructure, maintenance and energy components are clearly separated on the invoice.

Frequently asked questions

Does the main fuse always need upgrading?
No. Dynamic load management keeps charging within available capacity and the existing connection is often enough. Only measurement and technical analysis give a definite answer.
Can we start with just one charger?
Yes. An association can start with one point and expand later. What matters is designing control and cabling for growth from the start.
Who pays for charging?
The person charging pays. Sessions are tied to an account or RFID card and consumption is metered separately, so charging energy does not fall into shared building costs.
Can the charger belong to the association or to an apartment owner?
Both models work. The association can own and manage the points, or an owner can build their own point under shared control.
Can guests charge?
Yes, if the association wants it. Guests can get a separate tariff and immediate payment, and access can be limited to selected points.
Can the system be expanded later?
Yes. New points can be added and the same controller redistributes available capacity. Expansion is easier when cabling was planned with spare capacity.
Can HUBCORE also connect water and heat meters?
Electricity, water and heat meters with a suitable interface can be brought into the same view. Compatibility depends on the specific meters and existing read-out setup.
What happens during an internet outage?
Charging continues under local control logic and safe limits. Remote monitoring and data transfer resume when connectivity returns, and meter data is synced afterwards.
Who is responsible for maintenance and faults?
Responsibilities are agreed before installation: what the device warranty covers, what the service agreement covers and what stays with the association. Fault alerts come from remote monitoring.
